In latest round of invitations to apply for permanent residence, the cut-off score is further decreased to 453 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points. It is highly anticipated that the cut-off score will further decrease in upcoming draws. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 3508 eligible candidates to apply for permanent residence and these are highest number of invitations in any single draw since the start of Express Entry in January 2015.
Those who received invitation to apply (ITA) have 90 days to submit their applications for permanent residence with all the supporting documents.
Government of Canada will welcome between 280,000 and 320,000 (target 300,000) new permanent residents in 2017. It is high time to initiate your immigration process through express entry to become a permanent resident of Canada.
